Founder and Creative Lead
Powered by the 2018 AIGA Innovate Grant, Creative LeadCon was founded to prepare designers for a new role leading problem solving, innovation, and strategy. Through a series of facilitated workshops with regional leaders, we developed the concept of LeadCon as a conference that would provide actionable takeaways in three core pillars: emotional intelligence, business acumen, and authentic communication.
Our mission was to provide an educational experience that would help our attendees to walk away with a new network of peer support and personal connections, insights from industry thought leaders, tools and skills to put into immediate action, and a leader’s mindset to succeed through change.
Creative Lead
Once we had developed a framework for the conference, I drafted the creative brief, outlining design and communication assets for promotion and day of event, collaborating with Hansen Design Group for deliverables. Once the designs had been completed, I sourced event swag, designed the name badges, developed powerpoint slide deck for presentations, and recruited and managed the motion design components of the event brand.
Attendees were assembled into cohorts and assigned a color so they could easily identify each other throughout the conference.

Video production & Event Documentation
As part of the innovate grant, we wanted to create an event series that would move across various regions in the US. To accomplish this, I hired a videographer who had worked with AIGA Philadelphia, to document the day, interview attendees, and develop a promotional video we would use for the subsequent events.
